Great product! I see some mixed reviews that seem to explain themselves with either wrong item ordered or some sort of unreasonable expectations. This is the closest thing to a full blown flight case you can buy without getting a full blown flight case. It is pretty much bullet proof but elegant and comfortable. I purchased mine with the case bag as well for the added padding, both for the case itself and my back as I backpack it a lot. The small music pocket on the case bag is nice too but I wish it were just a bit higher capacity for a text book since I use this primarily as a college commuter as a guitar student so I often have more than a 4 or 5 page repertoire bi-fold.The case itself is incredible. I recently purchased a Yulong Guo double top concert guitar and it came with essentially a glossy ivory/cream color CRF1000 knock-off under the name "Singing Dragon". Great case, ever so slightly larger which I figured out from trying to put the CR case bag around it without success, but still a bomb proof alternative that seems to only come with Yulong Guo guitars. I have 2 classicals that I play often, one being a much less expensive but still valuable to me Cordoba C7 that I wanted another case for. The Crossrock is far superior in build quality, used more latches, slightly different in style, and is a much more professional looking case with the brown leather. The integrated hygrometer is beautiful and works well cross checked with my digital Oasis hygrometer/thermometer/humidifier unit. It doesn't interfere at all with the headstock of either guitar as someone else claimed in their review but they may have some anomaly guitar design. The neck pocket is significantly smaller than most other cases I've had, including the singing dragon, but I think it's due to a much heaftier padding in the neck support as well as the slimmer design of the case itself. With a classical I don't really have a grand need for a massive neck pocket but it's worth mentioning to those who require a stash pocket for accessories. The case comes with a matching velvet pad for filling gaps around the body of a slightly smaller than standard guitar so I imagine a children's guitar would fit or an oddly shaped renaissance/parlor guitar might be adaptable. I personally find it useful to pad around the headstock since it is the only area of the case that the guitar has any room to move. It also comes with a nice little velvet back that contains the included straps but doubles nicely as an accessory bag for whatever you can fit in it. The CRF1000 Classical Case Bag is also an incredibly tailored fit and elegant yet functional. It doesn't look quite as classy as the leather finish of course, but it does a fantastic job protecting it and makes the case much easier to wear as a backpack. The case features little hard rubber feet on the back, bottom, and hinged side but when worn as a backpack the pegs on the bottom are right in your shoulder blades. The case bag pads perfectly well enough to eliminate that discomfort and provides a very small amount of room for some sheet music. Not enough for anything more than maybe a soft cover 50 pages or less, so forget a binder or any big text books for students but perhaps some repertoire or a thin method book. This case is beyond cool. It's beautiful inside and out, sturdy, robust, light, and just perfect for my guitar. It's one that one would expect to be quite expensive, actually.I think this beats out many other cases with its "futuristic" sort of design. It's tough but very light at the same time, If I can repeat myself. I'd have no issue with all my guitars in these if guitar companies were to pick them up to be included with their guitars.Get this, they actually went as far as to put the case in a soft cloth bag that is actually measure to form fit around it for added shipping protection. (I've only seen these bags come with luxury watch winders!) Also, the straps are folded inside of a nice pouch that is made of the inner case material.I can't say enough good things about this product, but I can indeed highly recommend it.The case itself is fine, though it arrived way latter than expected and had a bunch of scratches on the top. For the money paid, I guess I'll keep it. It's going to get scratched anyway. I'd be really mad if I'd paid the full purchase price of for this case. ?Good productLove the case. I had to file some burrs on one of the rivets. Very nice case for the money. The backpack straps actually function.Love the fit and finish of the case!!! Fits my Custom Shop R8 perfectly! The body is nice and snug and the headstock is perfectly floated as well. Definitely a much better case than the standard Lifton style case.Well built, good fit. I'm not sure if the leather is genuine or not, but it looks very real! Tons of compliments on it. The case holds plent of pressure without buckling. 6 latches on the classical model. Best feature though, is the seal. Lined with a rubberized gasket, my digital hygrometer has changed from a 10% swing both ways each day to a 3% swing. Frankly, this case is a wonder for acoustic instrument preservation.I wouldn't fly with this as checked baggage, but it is perfect in every other way.Was a gift for my granddaughter and she loves it. Thank you , good quality and looks very nice.
