This is a nice backpack with 3 major pocket and plenty of storage. It has a large laptop sleeve in the largest pocket which is closest to the wearer's back. The sleeve holds my laptop securely with plenty of extra room in the pocket for other items such as textbooks. The middle pocket is thin and holds folders, papers, or magazines well. You could also place a tablet in this pocket or or in the laptop sleeve. The smallest pocket is great for storing a calculator or other small loose items such as an i-pod or phone. It also has several slots for pens / pencils or thumb drives and two internal pockets. One with a zipper and one without. Finally there are two external mesh pockets on either side for drink bottles. I use the mesh pockets to store my laptop charging hardware. All in all is is a great backpack with plenty of storage space and it looks nice too.
