I can't say how much I love this sprayer. I have bought those containers with spray in them that you pump and bend over and carry around that spray so little at a time. I've also bought the similar version with the battery operated sprayer and those weigh less but, of course, the sprayer just stops working and you're still bent over. I wanted something more long-term that would hold more and spray more at once.I love that it wears like a backpack and HOW MUCH it sprays and HOW QUICKLY I got done. Literally took me maybe 20% of the time it previously took me to spray our landscaping to keep the weeds out. No bending, nice amount of spray, and love the pump action on the side lever. The only drawback to this that I've found is that the bony prominences of my spine, shoulder blades, and clavicles were a little sore the next day from having that weight on those areas. But not all people will have issue with that. I may add some kind of padding next time I use it. Definitely not a deterrent to keep from buying it. Would highly recommend this sprayer. This is a great sprayer. It holds 4 gallons, so you can get a lot done in a short amount of time without a lot of refilling and remixing. I have an acre and was able to spray a quarter acre thoroughly in a single tank. It is heavy with 4 gallons in it, but carrying it on my back beats holding a one gallon tank in my arms. Very convenient and the spray was very strong with a good pumping. Where appropriate clothing, because you may get wet holding it on your back.WORKS GOOD-HOLDS 4 GALLONS AND 4 GALLONS IS HEAVY ON YOUR BACK FOR THE TYPE OF STRAPS THAT ARE PROVIDED-I JUST PUT 3 GALLONS IN TO START WITH-STILL BETTER THAN CARRYING A 4 GALLON SPRAYER WITH 4 GALLONS OF PRODUCTmy friend let me use his I had to get one - Love ItMine arrived and it was wet on the inside of the tank. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I assumed it was either wet as a QC check or a final rinse off the assembly line. I should have trusted my gut. I filled it and lugged it up the hill to the greenhouse. It was dripping the whole way and it completely drained overnight. I tightened the black collar and noticed that the threads in the plastic had been sheared and the screw head was damaged. Someone had already tried this. Surprise, surprise, I got the same results of the other person; it didn't solve the problem. I took off the black collar and found that the gasket wasn't seated correctly and it appears that the plastic has been broken from where someone tried to pry apart the two pieces to re-seat the gasket (see pics). I applied some Teflon tape and that didn't help. I then tried some silicone caulk and that didn't help either. Water is getting out when it's pressurized. I would return it, but it's already been too much of a bother. I'll fuss with it later if/when I want a project. Either way, I won't be purchasing from this seller again. The sprayer seems to be of a good design and would do exactly what I wanted, but don't risk it. You could get used merchandise too.My husband & I bought 2 of these backpack sprayers for our growing lawn care business. They arrived today which was awesome because it was sooner than expected. After unboxing one of the sprayers, the pump handle.... just fell off :-/When we tried to put it back on, it didn't want to go back on easily or properly & there is a lot of play/wiggle room in the pump handle like the parts don't really fit together all that great. My husband worked in an injection molding plastic factory for 30 yrs. & he said this thing is a cheap POS. The spray handle is made of inferior plastic that won't hold up in a week. We bought this with the hope that it'd be better than the Harbor Freight backpack sprayer you can get from them for $30, honestly.... This thing is worse. The tank sprayer met all of my expectations.Unit arrived fast, and works great. The only issue I found are the straps. They are a bit short making them small and do not provide much padding for your shoulders.
