Mine came a little damaged, which I guess is expected considering the weight of it and the work ethic of the delivery guys. The place where the stabilizer bar goes got bent during shipping but too minor of an issue to go through the trouble to get a replacement. Otherwise I'm very impressed with it, its good strong material and easy to use. Seems a little dangerous to use for like an everyday job, I can imagine someone who has to use this a lot would get frustrated with making sure every rung isn't going to slinky on you every single time you use it, which is not a big deal for me I will only need it a few times a year which is why I like the "compact" idea of this ladder. I got the steel A-Frame version of the ladder and over all satisfied! Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the damage on the stabilizer bar slot.Sturdy material, very tall. Kind of wobbly to stand on and heavy to carry.Purchased for open stairs, to paint walls. The fold options were great, it is very heavy tho. Awkward to release each step as u have to use both hands to unlock AND slide up or down each rung?!? When straight it wobbles horribly. Worse was it literally buckled at the 3 step when I (122lbs) was at the top 4th step.... crashed down hard. ER visit (pics are too bloody) broken rib, ruptured bursa to elbow, 17 stitches in shins. Bruised and sore for weeks. I'm terrified of it in any form but SHORT A frame or the short reverse U set up.This could have been a great product if each ladder locked into place when not in use. As it is, if a ladder rung is in its lowest position it is not locked. To use the ladder you have to push all the ladder rungs up a certain amount to lock them in place, making the ladder usable at a height of around 8 feet in a folded configuration. If ladder rungs are not locked then ladder could expand in one direction causing a fall. When used with all rungs locked in place, it is very wobbly and still and to expand ever so slighty. I would return if I could but I see from the comments it's a hassle to return.When u have no one to help hold the letter it’s the best safetyThe telescoping and compact-ability are great for transport how the weight is a bit much. All around 4 stars but if the could cut the weight or somehow put wheels on it thatd help a lot.This ladder works, but it feels unstable & wobbly. This ladder is not for the faint of heart. Imagen stacking 10-pint glasses one on top of the other, and you will start to get the idea. It works, but you defiantly gets your heart rate up while using it.This ladder is NOT sturdy at all. My husband is an engineer and said it's junk. Like the previous reviews, it is wobbly. You cannot even return it without a huge hassle with this vendor. They should be removed from Amazon's site. They stall your refund process by replying back with its rating and instructions on how to use it. Also, that they would only refund if we remove our claim. Then they say that the return label is not the right address and to contact them first. When you get a return address from Amazon A-Z, it tells you to return it at your expense to an address that does not exist! There is not a city 'CHINESE, CA!' Don't assume this a a racist review, as I am Asian and has lost patience......We are so disappointed.
