Seems to be solidly built. The green and brown inside and out complement each other well, it fits my 17 inch laptop easily, and it has a good amount of pockets on it. Just make sure you keep the buckle part through the loop at all times or else it will go flying.I don't have anything negative to say about this bag. It has all the pockets you could every want for cords and chargers. I can easily store my laptop and keyboard in the back and have all the paperwork and devices in the storage up front. The material is durable and it is a fashionable. Definitely worth the money.Very well made bag. My MacBook Pro and extra long Mac Numeric Keyboard fit quite nicely and securely. Plus plenty of room for a lot else. A little more rugged looking that expected but still really nice. It’s a beautiful backpack, but the laptop compartment is prone to mold (maybe due to improper storage). There’s a leather square at the end of the laptop strap, and that’s molded while in storage.I tried reaching out to the vendor to request support via Facebook messenger, and they failed to respond. So, I processed the replacement thru Amazon and received a new backpack within a couple days. Opened it up, and mold again!Called Amazon, and they were friendly about it. They immediately issued a refund, said I didn’t need to send back the second backpack, and also said they’d investigate the issue internally. I’m extremely allergic to mold so unless I can permanently eliminate the mold, it’s going into the trash :(I love the fact that this has a vertical zipper. It makes it super easy to get into the main compartment to store stuff and has 2 vertical pockets next to the zippers. There's also a packet on the top flap which is pretty roomy. The fabric on the outside feels thicker and less prone to ripping. There's also another compartment behind this main compartment which is where you can store your laptop/tablet. In my opinion, the rear compartment should have been thicker because I store personal stuff in the front pocket and more technology in the back where it's heaviest. This is my reasoning for docking a star. It feels more crowded and it could more evenly distribute the weight. There was a missed opportunity to add a wider pocket below the two pockets. I also think the pockets in this compartment should have been mesh instead like the two pockets in the front compartment were. I foresee these pockets ripping at the seams if overfilled.Overall, if you have a hard time organizing your stuff like I do, you'll love this backpack! It's incredibly stylish! I hope this review helps those who are thinking about getting this backpack.I routinely carry a backpack when running errands and shopping, and I appreciate a bag that is large enough to hold various small items bought throughout a mall or farmer’s market, while simultaneously hold my iPad and Kindle, therein. This TAK Backpack certainly had enough space to accommodate those needs and more. The TAK Backpack did have that iconic wild west vibe and weighted approximately 2.43 pounds, according to my luggage scale. The inside and outside of TAK’s Backpack was made of a sturdy polyester material, seemed quite durable, and had that newly minted cowhide stiffness. The decorative straps, buckles and zipper pull tabs appeared to be made of genuine leather. The unique designed split zippered-front of the bag, offered convenient access to the items placed in that section of the bag, and the zippered pocket on the flap of the bag was ideal for securing my wallet that was, now, conveniently reachable without opening the bag. A large horizontal zippered pocket located on the back of the bag was roomy enough to fit both my iPad and Kindle devices. The main interior of the bag was spacious enough to store a 17” laptop in the sleeve that stabilized the laptop with a velcro closure. Two additional small pockets, large enough to hold 5”x3” notepads, were also embedded inside the main compartment. The addition of a trolly strap was a bonus for hooking the TAK backpack to luggage, and the mesh pockets that were placed inside the flap was perfect for storing my lotion and facial tissue. Water bottles could also be securely stored in the two-outside side pockets, because the deepness of the pockets prevented the bottles from tumbling out. I suspect that I will own this bag for many years, because it would be very difficult to rip, tear or otherwise damage the integrity of this bag.All I can say is wow! This TAK 17 Inch Laptop Backpack is very impressive. I was first taken by the listing photos of this stylish backpack because of how retro it looked with its fabric material, leather straps, and metal buckles. Once it arrived, I was amazed by how nice it turned out to be. First and foremost, the backpack fits everything I would want to pack in it as a day pack or overnight bag, including my 17-inch laptop which has usually been a tight squeeze in most other backpacks. The main compartment can hold my books, clothes, and other items. The many smaller zippered pockets accommodate all of my accessories and make accessing them quick and easy. Next, the backpack is well made and sturdy. Besides being well stitched, the backpack feels durable and has an added pad at the bottom to prevent wear and to keep the bag's contents safe. The metal buckles feel solid and are not only decorative, but actually function. There is a modern take on the straps and buckles as they also include a detachable magnetic clasp for quick bag access. If I had to suggest something to improve this backpack, it would be that they widen the slip-in side pockets to accommodate larger water bottles and travel mugs. As I could still squeeze in my travel mug, I did not deduct any stars from this otherwise excellent backpack. I would order this attractive and impressive TAK 17 Inch Laptop Backpack again.
