Here is the little trick that makes that possible. Use an elastic hairband, pull your hair into a ponytail. Now simply add the barrette by sticking the stick through your hair just above the band. And there you are. See your hair thickness doesn’t matter. And the nice thing about it is that the barrette can’t slip off because it is being held in place by the band.
