I'm not a backpack girl...it brings back too many college and nursing school memories! At least I wasn't until I got this one. I'll be doing a lot of traveling this summer and wanted something I could just throw around without having to be too fussy or careful. This is perfect. The material is thick and feels so squishy, like it's been broken in to the perfect degree. And I love the zippered compartment on the back. I was happy to see that the clasp to the main compartment really keeps the top closed. So the main section is closed with a combination of a magnetic snap + a drawstring + the heavy clasp. It's lightweight but still feels sturdy and substantial. There's plenty of room for all my things, and the extra front and side pockets are great for things I want to grab quickly like my keys, lip balm, or gum. I'm really happy with this. It just feels so good and I love the look of it. It doesn't look at all bronze to me. It's like a distressed, worn in, black leather look. And the price makes this a steal.
