I used this bag for a recent trip to Hungary. Our flight from London to Hungary required very small carry-on luggage, so I studied the measurements and went with this backpack. It was PERFECT! It holds loads of things, but it doesn't appear bulky or oversized. Inside I carried an ipad, a large envelope of paperwork, my purse, a jacket, a neckpillow, my point and shoot camera, and often a second waterbottle. We joked that it's like the tardis--bigger on the inside! The extra large water bottle pouch on the side and other pockets and pouches are a big plus as well.I also loved the look of this bag. It looks professional, not like a school backpack. Would absolutely buy again and will be using it on many trips in the future.I bought this to use as a personal item on an international flight with measurements that are way smaller than my usual backpack that I take along. I didn't expect it to be quite as roomy as it is. I have used it twice as an "overnight" bag for a car trip, once for just overnight and the other for a two-day trip. This bag will easily hold a pair of rolled up jeans, a pair of lighter pants, 3-4 T-shirts, a long-sleeved shirt, 3 or 4 days worth of socks and underwear as well as a quart liquids bag and a cosmetic bag. These were both car trips so my extra shoes, book, and sweater or jacket went in the trunk. On one trip I did manage to fit in a pair of flip flops for the beach. I have tried packing this with some of the things I will be taking with me on my trip overseas in the fall. It will definitely hold my puffy jacket in it's pouch and my mid-calf length rain trench coat folded up into it's own hood easily along with the liquids bag and cosmetic bag with some room to spare. I love the zippered water bottle pouch on the outside. The bottle definitely won't be falling out of this one. So far, so good. We'll see how it performs as a purse when I get to my destination.It is just the right size to hold important documents and my camera for traveling. I took it to Great Britian and it was great to carry stuff around while site seeing. I use it now to carry stuff to work.This bag is fabulous. I wanted a bag to keep all my things secure traveling around Europe and it was perfect! It's small, but could hold so much! I was regularly carrying a book, kindle, sunscreen, souvenirs, and could still smush a sweater inside. Now that I'm back home, I realized it can hold my 15" laptop so it's my new work bag! The quality is great, design is helpful and simple, and I was able to keep everything safe and organized. Wonderful bag.This backpack was the perfect size for the airplane and running around Italy. It surprisingly held a lot but wasn’t too bulky. I loved the neutral color, it didn’t chafe my arm while wearing sleeveless shirts, and I loved the locking zippers.This is a beautiful and well made travel backpack with wonderful locking features. I returned because I wanted a darker color. I highly recommend.Love it. I’m glad I have it - use it for travel and around town when I need a bag larger than or more secure than a purse.Perfect for our trip to Alaska, lightweight and easy to handle lots of storage.Used this backpack every day on recent trip to Southeast Asia and it proved invaluable. Held a fair amount as my carry-on for flights, including camera, iPad, cables and batteries, toiletries, small towel; could have stuffed in more if necessary. Attached neck cushion with carabiner and was good to go. Various compartments kept smaller items handy without having to rummage around. On coach journeys and day trips kept it light with just a few essentials, and even in the heat (intense at times) it was very comfortable and did not cause a sweaty back, through a linen shirt at least. It also looked neat on my small (5ft 2) frame and more stylish than my previous ‘built for the hills’ packs.Always used the anti-theft clips when out at nights, where I needed backpack as a shopper to hold souvenirs. Once, on a crowded street, felt a slight jostling on my back and turned round to see a guy up close with a scarf around his hand. With easier access he might have gotten away with something, who knows.Now back home will get more good use of my backpack on long walks and days out with grandsons. Very happy so far.Love the backpack. Anti cut straps so preventing easy theft and also RFID so my cards can't be scanned. Only downside is that the opening isn't very big.My friend had one of these so I bought one.However on arrival one of the zip holders for the zip wasn't nailed down all the way and as a result, the zip clasp has come off. I received this abroad on 2 month trip away so didn't have time to return it.Shame as a result I can't say it has great build quality, but otherwise it is a good sized bag with good compartments.Was able to carry all my essentials as hand luggage. Lots of handy compartments.Love this backpack. Nice to have the locking zips and all the other security features. Comfortable. Only thing is I had to pay customs charges which was unexpected. Red Pebble Products have said they will reimburse this to me. I have sent them proof but they have not reimbursed me.
