This is a very smart and good looking backpack. It’s a neat size, lightweight with really nice slim profile. Unfortunately the rest is quitevdisappointing for Kipling. The quality of the inside sections is much less ‘luxe’ e.g. the padded laptop compartment has no velcro/strap to fasten securely so it’s much less easy to retrieve things from the main compartment as the laptop drops forward and obstructs access. The zips, while apparently robust, seem to be much less smooth in operation,so I have to use both hands to open and close the front pockets. The fabric seems less breathable too so my back gets quite damp if it’s warm (although that may be because the backpack fits more closely). I haven’t had that problem with my (several) other Kipling backpacks. Finally, there is no exterior sleeve on the back for sliding over luggage - so the description here is incorrect. It’s a shame - I thought this would be THE ONE, but it’s not.
